Journeys

Expedition: Alaska

I spotted an old '52 Chevy pickup sitting on the side of El Camino with a "For Sale" sign in the window and fell in love. I bought it and decided to drive to Alaska and back. This is the collection of letters that I sent home to family and friends through the Internet as I traveled/fixed my way through the summer of '95.

Rollerblading in L.A

A motorcycle trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles to visit some friends and rollerblade along the beach.

Israel

Although my powerbook was damaged along the way, I continued to take 35mm pictures and scribble notes on pencil and paper. Join the story now as I attempt to reconstruct what happened during the final days of the journey.

Egypt

My powerbook was damaged while traveling in Israel -- severing my contact with the internet. This story picks up where the Israel story left off, as I search Egypt in my quest for an African drum. (Not yet finished)

San Luis Obispo

A mountain biking adventure with Scott, Joe and Dan. Stagecoach to Shooters, Montana de Oro, and an evening downtown.

Moab

A picture book featuring the exploits of our mountain biking group as we take on the rocks of southeastern Utah.

Honduras

A medical mission to remote villages in the mountains of the Honduras. (Unfinished).

Africa

In February 1998, I left the high tech world of Silicon Valley, California to become a bushpilot in Africa. Here's an update on my latest progress.
