I'm currently in flight training for the Private Pilot, Instrument, Multi-Engine, and Commercial Pilot Licenses. My dream is to work as a bushpilot, delivering food and medical aid to remote villages, probably in Africa.

Experience

At the Learning Company we develop educational software for children. Working as part of a small project team, I helped make products like Interactive Math Journey , the Reading Development Library series, and Reader Rabbit 1 , the world's top-selling reading program.These products are typically C++ programs, developed as hybrid CD-ROMs that work on both Windows and Macintosh computers. As member of a development team in Israel, I helped create our company website. Some projects also involved 3D graphics and multiplayer capabilities.

Certified as Interior Structural Firefighter and Hazardous Materials First Responder. Graduated first in class from the South Carolina Fire Academy, Columbia, SC.

Developed a C program on a UNIX system for noise reduction of digital signals from data gloves. These gloves were part of a human/machine interface which also included an eye-tracking headset and a speech recognition system.

Designed a digital filter for the parallel computer system of a vehicle which drives itself using a camera as the only sensor. At the time, this computer-stuffed delivery truck held the world speed record for autonomous vehicles - about 50 mph.

Taught junior high grades 7-9 in various subjects including English, Geometry, Chorus, Chemistry, and Biology.

After training on rivers in New Mexico and Colorado, guided multi-day river trips on the Rio Grande. Skills developed as a raft guide include cooking, First Aid, desert plant and wildlife lore, working with people, and common sense.

Robert Wood & Associates is a computer consulting firm that also offers training classes on the use of various software packages. I designed and implemented a relational database to organize the firm's class schedules and customer information.

Designed, implemented, and marketed a multi-player game service. Titles included StarClash, Conquest of the Moon, and Arena. Game play often involved up to 24 players.

Achievements

• ranked in the top 50 physics students in the United States during tryouts for United States Physics Team `88
• successfully purchased Spanish guitar, in Spain, with no knowledge of the Spanish language.
